Pair your existing vault
Start one-time pairing in your trusted SSH terminal with
.build/python/bin/python phone_pair.py from the passkey directory.
Open the private link it provides here. Your existing vault and IB key are reused.
Keep your original passphrase and vault backup separately for recovery.
Confirm saved unlock
Verify once more to check that your phone can reopen the saved encrypted copy. This check does not start an IB login.
This permits automatic IB login and recovery of your existing live trading bot until Sunday 15:00 Hong Kong/Singapore, including starting it if stopped. From Saturday 15:00, approval covers the following Sunday: at most eight days. Renew before expiry; reminders arrive 24 hours and 2 hours beforehand. Your phone approval is held only in server memory; reboot or phone-service restart ends it. Manual /stop cancels it. Opening /ib_login or cancelling a renewal prompt keeps your current authorization until its existing expiry. Recovery has limited retries.
This restarts Gateway for your live account with trading access enabled. It leaves the trading bot stopped. One GPM verification unlocks the vault and approves the first matching IB request for this attempt within three minutes.
Revoking ends recovery authority; it does not stop an already running trading bot. Use /stop in Telegram to stop trading.
After “IB login check passed”, you can close this page. Gateway stays logged in; the vault locks automatically after a ten-second grace period.
